Dr. Amit Gohel Has Been a Big Part of My AVN Recovery I was diagnosed with AVN in my hip and consulted two different arthroplasty surgeons. Both suggested a hip replacement within about 3 months, as they felt the condition could worsen. I have had two MRI scans during this period, and the reports have shown that the condition has remained stable, with signs of recovery and bone healing.
